About ZyphQuest
A solo developer's journey into game development
Hey, I'm Sparrow!
Solo Developer & Creator of ZyphQuest
🎯 The Mission
ZyphQuest is my personal playground for learning software and game engine development. Every game you play here represents a step in my journey to understand how games work under the hood - from rendering and physics to networking and user interfaces.
This isn't a big studio or a commercial venture. It's just me, learning by doing, and sharing the results with anyone who wants to play along.
📚 The Learning Journey
I believe the best way to learn is by building real things. Each project on ZyphQuest teaches me something new:
- Game mechanics - How to make games feel fun and responsive
- Web technologies - HTML5 Canvas, JavaScript, PHP, and more
- Desktop apps - Building with Electron for cross-platform support
- Backend systems - User accounts, leaderboards, and APIs
- Auto-updates - Keeping desktop apps current automatically
Everything here is a work in progress, and that's the point. Learning never stops!
🌟 Special Thanks to Enterspire
A huge shoutout to the Enterspire community! It's my favourite MMO and where I've made some great friends who have been testing and enjoying these arcade games.
If you're looking for a fantastic MMO experience with a welcoming community, definitely check them out. They've been a big inspiration for this project.

A Note on Expectations
Since this is a learning project by a solo developer:
- Games might have bugs (I'm learning!)
- Features may change or be experimental
- Updates happen when I have time to work on them
- Everything is provided for free, as-is
But that's part of the adventure! Thanks for being here and supporting the journey.
